At Eikoh, we have been conducting the ECO-Cap campaign since last year, and the number of caps collected last year was 1,032.

This year as well, with the cooperation of our employees, we collected caps from used plastic bottles and sent them to the NPO, Ecocap Movement.

The number of plastic bottle caps collected over the one-year period from October 2023 to September 2024 was as follows:

 

Head Office: 1,290 caps

East Japan Sales Office: 516 caps

Total: 1,806 caps!

 

Last year’s collection covered only the nine-month period from January to September 2023, so compared to last year, the volume has significantly increased.

It’s not that more volume is necessarily better, but thinking that this movement helped reduce the carbon dioxide that would have been generated makes me feel quite good.

We are committed to continuing the ECO-Cap campaign this term as well, with the support of our employees!
