Average Paid Leave Utilization Rate
This time, I would like to talk about our company's paid leave utilization rate.
In short, our company's utilization rate last year was 75.2%!
We’re still a bit far from our ultimate goal of 100%, but I was surprised that the rate was higher than expected.
Since making our Sustainable Development Goals declaration, it’s thanks to everyone’s active efforts to take paid leave that we've reached this point.
According to the "2022 General Survey on Working Conditions" published by the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare, the average utilization rate of paid leave was 47.6% in fiscal year 2015, and it has continued to rise since then, reaching 58.3% in fiscal year 2022.
I feel that the world is becoming a more accommodating environment for taking paid leave.
Eikoh promotes a balanced work style where employees refresh their mind and body on days off and work diligently on workdays.
This year, we will work hard to bring the utilization rate closer to 100%.
