ECO-Cap Campaign
At Eikoh, we have been participating in the ECO-Cap Campaign since January of this year. With the cooperation of our employees, we collected caps from used plastic bottles, and this month, we sent them to the NPO, Ecocap Movement.
The collected plastic bottle caps are purchased by a recycling company, and a portion of the purchase amount is donated. The bought plastic bottle caps are said to be transformed into recyclable plastic resources.
And the total number of caps we collected is as follows:
Head Office: 215 caps
East Japan Sales Office: 817 caps
Total: 1,032 caps!
If these are incinerated as waste, the amount of carbon dioxide emitted would be approximately 7.56 kg.
This campaign contributes to waste reduction and the prevention of global warming. Moving forward, I hope to continue the ECO-Cap Campaign with the cooperation of our employees and make a positive impact on society.
